Experienced Occupational Therapists

Angel Sekwela (nee Ndabambi )
Occupational Therapist

With over eleven years of experience as an occupational therapist across district and provincial hospitals, as well as private practice, I am passionate about providing mental health support and intervention. My goal is to expand access to mental health occupational therapy services, particularly in my rural community of Tzaneen.

I love working with adults and adolescents to achieve a balanced occupational profile through an activity-based approach that fosters overall well-being.

As a mother, my journey into parenthood during the COVID-19 pandemic has further deepened my commitment to supporting parents in maintaining their mental health while navigating the complexities of raising children.

I hold a postgraduate diploma in vocational rehabilitation and have earned certifications as an ErgoScience PWPE evaluator, Sensory Intelligence® Practitioner, Progressive Goal Attainment Program® (PGAP) service provider, and Psychiatric Functional Capacity Evaluator (PFCE). Currently, I am completing my Master’s in Occupational Therapy, focusing on the role of occupational therapists in cognitive ergonomics risk assessment and intervention.
